Shout! & Scream Factory Wish List

inspired by the Criterion thread...

i thought this could be for all the horror/sci-fi/action/schlock/etc that you desire for them to put out.

i would love CE's:

Re: Shout! & Scream Factory Wish List

They seem to have a pretty good relationship with MGM, so I'm hoping for a Bill & Ted double feature (with a better version of Excellent Adventure than Fox put out).

Not that it's likely, but a better version of The Terminator with the correct color timing would also be nice.

Army of Darkness is ripe for a double-dip. The German BD is the best version available, I'd love if they were able to put out a nice elaborate SE with both cuts of the film.

I watched Leviathan last night, so I would hope that SF released Deep Star Six at some point. Growing up I used to always confuse DSS and Leviathan.

how does Leviathan hold up?

just got it too, but haven't got around to watching it yet. always remembered it was like a Carpenter's The Thing and Cameron's The Abyss hybrid.

Leviathan holds up quite well. The video quality is phenomenal. Yeah, I'd say that's a fair comparison.

Re: Shout! & Scream Factory Wish List

I'm only hanging on to a handful of DVDs that haven't been upgraded at this point. Among those, the two I'd want the most are The 'Burbs and Salem's Lot. I typically try to spend $10 or less per film, but would drop $100 on either of those.

Re: Shout! & Scream Factory Wish List

They should take on some of the Mondo Macabro titles like Alucarda & The Mansion of Madness.

Oh, I'm aware. Unfortunately, I'm not region free. I purchased a modded player from 220electronics, worked for maybe 2 movies, but then started getting picture glitches and stopped working all together. Got a refund, but put me off buying anything modded.

Still hoping for a Scream Factory release though, as it seems they tend to put out a bunch of the same titles as Arrow.

If I did have access to region free, my checking account would go kaput. I would buy every single horror Arrow release I could get my hands on.
