Don't worry, we'll probably see these things re-packaged a dozen different ways over the next 10 years - Warners will make every attempt to maximize their profit after the investment they put in these.

Just received my set today. Pressed for time lately it will probably be a while before I unbox it, plus it looks very nice in its packaged state, want to enjoy it that way for while. Thanks for posting the unboxing video and photos

Got mine yesterday but Haven't opened it yet. I just stuck with the US, full price, full collection. Maybe I'll watch a season of it before it's clearanced :/
What number is everyone? My number is something like 24000. Which is kind of odd because I ordered it back in August.

I'm in the early 6,000's - placed my order in July.

I think one's number has more to do with the store they're getting it from than when they ordered...a lot of people that ordered from Bull Moose are getting numbers below 1,000.

I got a screener directly from Warners, and my number is somewhere in the 74,000s.

Reading the comments on the Blu-ray.com thread is laughable. Seriously, it is like they want the set to have massive errors to justify their existence as "experts".

No shit. I'm so over nerd rage these days. Let them debate.

Meanwhile I'll be sitting back watching the set like this:

I am not a blu-ray "master" or "expert" but the last scene from the episode of Marsha's Scheme of Diamonds is missing. At least there aren't any sync errors...yet.

Shit that sucks. Someone on Home Theater Forum says there's a scene missing from the episode "Riddling Controversy" from seasom two too. Hopefully Warner addresses these missing scenes.

Anyways I got my set yesterday. I was surprised because my estimated delivery was today. Overall its a nice set and the episodes I've watched look really good (I've watched the first four so far). My number is 15,380.

Nah, we the consumer should just suck it up and not complain when we get discs with missing scenes, sync errors and wrong aspect ratios. Just be thankful for what you are given.

I'm still overall happy with the set and luckily neither of those episodes are personal favorites but still the issue should hopefully be corrected.

I'm expecting some stock reply along the lines of "We remastered what Fox gave us. Any missing scene may be due to the original elements no longer being available. It is beyond our control."

Don't hold your breath for Warners to correct anything. I doubt if they'll even acknowledge anything was missed. As My Other Self points out, it's pretty easy just to blame Fox on this one.

Re: Batman 60s TV Series Coming November 2014 in Blu-ray!

Quality control has really gone down the tubes for Blu-ray releases. The home video divisions have been stripped down so much, far fewer eyes are checking them out before release. It's a shame a few fans couldn't have been given access before release, to ensure errors could have been fixed.

Wow, for a minute there I thought I stumbled on to Blu-ray.com's forum boards.

This is a legitimate complaint though. Missing scenes are a pretty big deal, especially for a high profile release like this. Either be on top of quality control or be up front about known errors/things that are missing.

Has anyone confirmed the missing scenes or is this all conjecture at this point?

I agree that most of the people at Blu-ray.com are, as you put it, "mouth breathers", but in this instance it's a legitimate complaint. Episodes have scenes missing, and it's not because of syndication ediits or anything. That really does need to be addressed but I honestly don't expect WB to do anything about it.

Re: Batman 60s TV Series Coming November 2014 in Blu-ray!

Warners needed to cut a deal with someone like Shout! or Time/Life (which I don't think is owned by Time-Warner anymore) to do this set - they do a great job with stuff like this. I'm sure there was very little quality control here...Warners probably just took the material they got and trusted everything was there and focused on the transfer instead of actually making sure they weren't missing any materials. Even the previews of next week's episode (at the end of Part 2 of each two-parter) are missing from this set. It was usually a still of the villain and the voice over guy would say "Next week, Batman versus..." whomever. Not on this set.

Things like those little villain bumpers would have been nice but overall them not being there doesn't really bother me.
