Some the big Marvel films have been surprisingly light on extras, The Avengers in particular.

I remember trekking out to nearly beyond Alexandria Virginia in finding a Target that had the bonus disc 'deluxe edition'

it's all about store exclusive content

Star Trek: Into Darkness was the worst case.

I'm in for the BB steelbook. Hopefully they get more than they did with Thor because this is going to sell through a lot of copies.

Me too, mostly because it has the best cover. It has to be better than the Thor release, as the BB's near me had nothing outside of pre-orders. So maybe I'll just pre-order the steel this time...

Bleh.

I liked the One-Shots. They're a really unique kind of value-added material.

Is that Target disc interesting enough to merit paying extra for? What's on it?

it's a 90 minute 'making of' documentary.

Better than him in a dynamic pose and a completely neutral face. Ha

The man can resist Scarlett Johanson. Clearly he's not phased by much ;).

Well he wasn't interested, guy has his own problems to sort. Not like she didn't give him a stiffy.

The first few One Shots were forgettable and the one included in The Avengers was downright terrible. However, Agent Carter and All Hail The King were fantastic. I was hoping for more like those two.

I don't care much for any of the covers so far, but that 3D cover is especially hideous.

I would love a steelbook with the teaser poster art:

hanshotfirst1138 06-01-14 09:11 PM

Nicely minimalist, but probably not something that they'd consider marketable for a cover.

I agree they would never do that for a normal cover, but other Steelbooks have had similarly-minimalist designs.

Just as a teaser, the actual promotional art was way more elaborate.

So what's the deal with Amazon not having this up for pre-order? Are they having a dispute with Disney? I see it's up for digital pre-order, but no sign of the Blu-ray anywhere.

The more they pull this crap, the less inclined I am to keep using them.

Do we know what the Best Buy Steelbook cover art is? I've lost track.
