The general consensus on Days of Future Past is that, despite being shot in native 3D, the depth is extremely conservative and doesn't add much to the movie. Bryan Singer had the same issue with Jack the Giant Killer. I don't know why he bothers to go to the trouble of shooting in native 3D when he doesn't seem to like 3D very much. In any case I haven't seen it in 3D. Did you see it in 3D? I'd like to know what you thought of it. |

Amazon France has the Rogue Cut up for pre-order with a street date of July 15th, which so happens to be the same week as the fifteenth anniversary of the first X-Men film's theatrical release (July 14th, a Tuesday this year). Nothing confirmed for the US quite yet, but that'll probably apply everywhere.

I held off on the existing DOFP release because I wanted the longer cut. I see no need for 3D and the theatrical is currently on HBO Go if I want to watch it.
