Honestly not saying I don't want people to get in on the price error, but it seems pretty unlikely that they'd honor a price mistake of over $100. That's a lot to lose and depending how many orders they got could add up really fast.

If anyone wants to see if their copy has shipped I urge you to go sign up for a UPS My Choice account. It's actually a very useful service that tracks all your UPS deliveries based on your home address and you will frequently get alerts from UPS long before the seller/shipper sends you a confirmation.

This has never been more useful than a situation like this where people are waiting on pins and needles to see if TCM will ship their package or not.

My TCM order status still says active/preorder but thanks to UPS My Choice I can already see that TCM has shipped my package and it is currently in transit out of Louisville, KY.

If you sign up and see a package coming from AEC ONE STOP GROUP INC coming to you then it looks like you're one of the lucky ones.

Edit: got my shipping notice minutes ago but thanks to UPS My Choice I knew a couple hours ago.

I got a shipping email as well for one Halloween and another unrelated Blu-ray. They canceled my second order completely that had Agents of SHIELD in it. The order that shipped was made very early, almost as soon as the deal went up.

I ordered Sunday night and got a confirmation email but just overnight my status was changed from preordered to backordered. Better than cancelled but that could still change.

Blah... I ordered around 10pm EST and mine shows backordered now. People who claim to have ordered after that are claiming theirs shipped.

I don't really care if I don't get it... but the waiting is killer. Just cancel it or ship it.

I find it funny that people here and on blu-ray.com have gotten shipping notifications and I haven't gotten shit. Since I am the one who found the deal and first posted it on blu-ray.com a good half hour after I placed my order you would think I would have been one of the first to have their order fulfilled?

I am not pissed that I didn't get one for $20 but that others did who placed their orders hours after me. I was going to give it as a gift anyways since I have one from Best Buy out for delivery.

After TCM deals with whoever is responsible for the error listing they might check out their fulfillment center too.

Its naive to expect these fulfillment centers to process orders on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are logistics at play that would baffle all of us if we were privy to them but I'm sure there's a rhyme and reason to it.

I'd like to see everyone who got an order in get theirs but I don't think its reasonable for any merchant to process orders in a manner that minimizes internet nerd forum anxiety issues. I don't think its reasonable for an online retailer to consider the experience of a customer who scours internet forums for other shipping notices.

I got the "sorry 30%" email but I still haven't received a cancellation. When I check the status via the original confirmation email it just says backordered.

I'm not going to lose any sleep if it gets cancelled, but now I'm just puzzled as to its status.

I am not a math wiz but If they sent out a mass email to everyone who has an account and not just the people that ordered the Halloween set a 30% off coupon wouldn't it have been cheaper just to fulfill the error orders?

Perhaps. Honestly, they're a giant corporation, so if they had just granted the items at those prices in goodwill for fucking up they would have reaped repeat business. Hell, I'd have given them even more business in general without waiting for the occasional.
