Now its on Universal to release the remaining Spielberg films on Blu. Every other studio has released all of theirs.

Edit: Universal's MIA Spielberg Blu-rays:

Duel
The Sugarland Express
1941
Always
Munich

1941, The Sugarland Express, Always, Munich, and Duel from Universal. Which I've yet to see still aside from Munich. Well I've seen like 20 minutes of Duel over my lifetime.

But we still need Amblin' from MGM. I honestly didn't even know Hook came out on BD.

You can't really fault Paramount for the lack of Munich on Blu-ray. They clearly realized they had two unreleased Spielberg movies and decided to put them out there. That's really all that would account for the pairing, I mean I could understand if they put "The Terminal" and "Catch Me If You Can" together because they're tonally similar and they both have the same star. But this is cleaning house with what's left of the Paramount library that didn't go to Warner. Hence the individual "Godfather Part III" release.

I can only hope that Universal recognizes they're holding up the Spielberg Blu-ray marathon and acts accordingly. "1941" is really the only one that they probably just couldn't crap out. I'd like to see both cuts of the movie and that would probably take some work, plus if you put everything that was on the laser and the DVD on there with multiple cuts you get a pretty packed release, not really something you'd expect to see as a $10 bargain bin release.

But "Always," "Sugarland Express," "Duel," and "Munich" could pretty much be dumped on Blu w/ HD transfers in configurations otherwise identical to their DVD releases without many objections, and those kinds of releases would make a lot of sense as $10-15 catalog titles.

Some day Munich will get my hard earned.

Munich's the one I've been waiting for... I remember selling the SE dvd for about $35, but I never thought it'd be this long of a wait. Hopefully a 10th anniversary release next year!

I loved the Terminal and I will buy that. I was waiting for the Blu-ray but I watched it in HD on HBO 2 years ago.

Don't find it for sale at Amazon yet.

The Terminal comes out on May 5 and you still can't preorder it at Amazon on April 25?

Is this a Best Buy exclusive?
