Kick-Ass 2 Unrated cut, but not on the blu ray?
 

I was browsing my Fios on demand guide and noticed there was an Unrated Extended cut listed. Then i checked the specs for the upcoming blu, no mention of this longer cut. the unrated cut is 118 minutes

Will this become the new norm, w the longer cut being reduced to VOD/streaming

I noticed that it is available on Vudu, but did not know it was not available on the physical disc.

Looks like I may forego a disc purchase and get it through Vudu.

I'll wait for reviews on how much better that cut is. If it is better, I won't be buying at all unless it's on disc.

It's not an extended cut.

It's the "deleted scenes" found on the Blu-ray disc's special features presented after the credits.

They've also done this with X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Extended) and Despicable Me 2 (Extended). Kinda shady. I'd be pissed if I paid money for an extended cut and got the normal theatrical cut with some crappy bonus features tacked on the end.
