Torn about getting Breaking Bad: The Complete Series.

It's not cheap by any means at $199.99 + tax. I'm sure 95% of you would be really hard pressed to spend that kind of money.

The most expensive complete series set that I ever bought at the time was West Wing for $149.99 when it initially came out.

:lol: Seriously, there seems to be so much venomous hate for that set. So many cheap bastards in this forum who don't appreciate it when a studio makes something cool for the fans.

I'll say it again, if you bought all the seasons individually, then great, glad that satisfies you. But IMO you shouldn't be such a hater when something like that comes out for fans who can afford it, want it or don't have the sets already.

It's not just this forum. I saw a lot of comments on the Breaking Bad Facebook with people bitching to Sony, AMC saying this set is a rip-off.

It's not the cost. Even though I'd like that bonus disc, my issue is that it's filled with so many useless toys and trinkets, not to mention it's asinine packaging - I may as well display action figures in my living room. If that's your bag, go for it! I feel it's ridiculous for me.

i could see some not wanting the BB set actually. it is a little outrageous.

quite honestly, if i didn't sell my original sets for what i did i wouldn't bother and would have been content (possibly?) with the single season sets.

but, since i freaking loved the show almost more than any other, i needed this set, trinkets and all, even though i am not a big trinket lover. sure, i loved my SteelBooks, but the trinket packaging doesn't do it for me.

also, since i have the room now, it will look good (to me at least) where i want to put it.

that it contains this 2-hour documentary is just gooey icing.
