From experience importing other Japanese box sets packaged with T-shirts, a Japanese size Large equates to an American Medium, and a Japanese Medium to an American Small.

This is on Netflix in HD, I wonder if it's the same transfer. I haven't taken a look at it, but now with this coming out, I have no plans to.

The episodes on Netflix are old HD masters and only 720p to boot. I thought they looked great on Netflix so these blu rays will hopefully blow my expectations away.

I was tempted to watch it on Netflix a couple of times but held off in anticipation of an eventual BD release. Now my prayers have been answered!

I watched it on Netflix last year. I will still watch this BD immediately. I can never get enough of immersing myself in that universe.

Hard to tell from the YouTube clip, but it looks like Lynch made sure they amped up the colors to near over-saturation - wonder if people will complain about that, although I'm pretty sure that's how Lynch likes it (a lot of his movies are (or should be if the Blu-rays were correct) like this - FWWM was definitely over-saturated in theaters - not so much on my French import).

Shit..from that Japanese picture, it's looking like the discs are in sleeves versus a digipack.

Grabbed it from FYE's July 4th sale for $62.15 so I can't complain too much.

I haven't seen it go below $115 in Canada.

Yeah... sleeves. Ugh. This is one of the few cases where I may dump the discs into plastic cases for easier access.
