Re: Halloween 35th Anniversary BD
I'm truly sorry that you don't care about proper packaging. It's alright to be a casual movie watcher that doesn't care about their collection. Just admit it.

Re: Halloween 35th Anniversary BD
My solution was to move the TV version disc from the AB Limited Edition DVD set to a paper sleeve and put it with the booklet on the back side of the case. I put my new blu in it's place.

The original digibook packaging is vastly superior to the standard boring case Walmart is offering. You prefer the same old pedestrian packaging because you don't like change, just admit it.

I used to have the television version of Halloween years ago but sold it for some reason. Since this movie has been released a million times, what is the current best release to buy for the TV version?

Somewhat ironic that you would call other people "casual movie watchers" when you claim you can't recognize the names of any films that the Criterion Collection has released.

Re: Halloween 35th Anniversary BD
It was first released as part of the two-disc limited edition of Halloween in 1999.
It was then released as an unlimited standalone disc a year or so later.
And it was included in the Halloween 30th Anniversay boxed set, which included Halloween, Halloween TV cut, Halloween (blu-ray), Halloween 4, Halloween 5, and Halloween 25 Years of Terror.
I think all three are out of print; the 30th Anniversary box still might be available from some retailers, though.

Wow, do you not know what you're talking about. A package where the disc slides into a paper sleeve is vastly superior than proper packaging ? Must be fun to live in your strange world....
