The F13 BD set is an amazing set. Honestly I really don't see the point of getting 4K for this series. Unless you really want 4K and had no interest in that mega set. But for me personally, that set was more than adequate and is now quite affordable.

I assumed a 4k set of this was coming. It still might, but I grabbed this when it was released anyway and now i can’t remember why. I had the tin BD set, but this had an exclusive something, but I forget.

yeah, but Vudu doesn’t have the third in 3D. Plus, the myriad of incredible extras. $80 is nothing for this set. Quite a great price for an amazing collection

Anaglyph 3D looks like ass, and Part 3 is one of the most pointless movies to watch in 2D as there’s so many 3D gags in it.

Fingers crossed that the PSVR2 has (or will have?) Blu-ray 3D support, just like they patched in support on the PS3 and PS4. Not holding my breath or anything, but hopeful! I don't really care about "new" 3D movies, but I have a pretty sizeable stack of 3D BDs I've only ever watched flat or with anaglyph glasses.
It'll be interesting to see what happens when the Avatar sequel hits home video, even if 3D support on the PSVR2 is a purely digital download/streaming thing.
