Not in the least. Besides, when were the last 3D TV's sold? Like 6 years ago?

No, but I’d guess about 1 in 20 buying this set are buying it for the 3D.

$134.99 at Grindhouse Video. Won't be surprised if we see others besting Shout's price (the posters are nice, but not worth the apparent premium)

Re: Friday The 13th BR Box Set in the works.

I'm so glad that this set is coming out, especially for folks who weren't able to get the initial Blu-Ray set.

I probably will pass on it as I have the Blu-Ray set and the DVD set.

While 2K/4K scans of the first four films and Jason Goes to Hell is pretty awesome, it's not enough for me personally to drop $100+, as I don't really care about the extras.

Love the artwork though!

Re: Friday The 13th BR Box Set in the works.

Went ahead and pre-ordered. I still have the Superman rolled-up posters when you ordered the Superman box set way back when so think will start getting poster frames and hanging these up (well Superman I & II), including the F13 one.

Re: Friday The 13th BR Box Set in the works.

Anyone get in an order with Amazon? I swear I would even trade my Futureshop Iron Man Blu-ray SteelBook, sealed and worth some $ if you want to take time and list (more than this set anyway), order it for me shipped to my house, straight up.

Re: Friday The 13th BR Box Set in the works.

Amazon.ca has it listed for $145 CDN. Just pre-ordered it!

(no clue why it's cheaper there than Shout.)

Re: Friday The 13th BR Box Set in the works.

That Amazon Canada price seems like a steal for American buyers, plus it appears the ridiculous shipping increases happening around the world don’t yet apply on Canada-to-USA orders.

I did a pretend order and this set shipped to my U.S. mailing address comes to CDN $159.00, which works out to US $117.00 all in (just under $10 per movie). And no sales tax on US orders, either

Oddly, if I order it to my Canadian home -- which I’ll probably have to do because of the border situation -- the cost is about $5.00 higher than shipping it to ‘myself’ in the states, but I’ll live with it.

I think we're doing it so cheaply because Jason was really into hockey, eh. He played left for the Leafs for half a season in 88

Man, I really should have sold my tin set already. There's currently 113 listings for it on eBay when searching by UPC!

I'm going to wait until the end of the day and if the Amazon preorder is not up by then I'll order it from Shout.
