There used to be a "while supplies last" banner on the site but it's since been removed. Take it for what it's worth but I feel it's safe to say that they will always have these discs available but of course they are exclusive when ordering direct.

I was hoping that they started shipping these bad boys out yesterday so I would have my copy by friday. Im excited by this release and the wait is killing me.

see...i am not sure if i want to see the movies first and then the doc. so as not to spoil the movies with the bits from the doc. does that make any sense?

Yeah. There's bound to be spoilers in the documentary. Have you not seen any of the films? If so I recommend them, they aren't really great movies for the most part but are fun as shit to watch, especially the Paramount ones or the first eight films. I don't care as much for the two New Line ones or the Platinum Dunes remake, Freddy vs. Jason is okay but feels more like a Nightmare on Elm Street film.

no, no...i've seen all them, maybe once on some, twice on others, and many times on JGTH and Jason X. i love the franchise (including the remake which i thought was just good nasty fun, but they really had me @ Sister Christian which happens to be one of my fav songs of all-time). just haven't seen them in years. i am getting the complete collection Friday (already preordered @ BB) and just think if i see the doc first it will spoil what little i remember about the movies...ya know?

The distributor gives you a "discount" based upon how many copies you purchase as a seller. The SRP on a title might bet set for $29.99, but if I order a thousand copies, the distributor might give me the discs at $9.99 a pop. Then I get to determine how much I want to sell the disc for as long as it falls in line with the SRP and what is willing to give me the most sales/profit.

That's why places like Best Buy and Target sell discs for "cheap" on release week or specific times of the year. They're using those as a loss leader in hopes you browse the store and purchase more.

I might have gotten a shipping notification. I got something from a CAV Distributing Corp with tracking info sent to the e-mail address associated with my Paypal account. I haven't ordered anything else througn Paypal recently, so I'm guessing/hoping it is for this.
