Mud -- 8/27/13
Lionsgate Films and Roadside Attractions have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray director Jeff Nichols' latest film, Mud (2012), starring Matthew McConaughey, Tye Sheridan, and Jacob Lofland. The preliminary release date set by the distributors is August 27th.
Official synopsis: Mud is a coming-of-age drama centered around two fourteen-year-old boys who encounter a mysterious fugitive hiding out on an island in the Mississippi. Intrigued by this man, they enter into a pact to help him evade capture and reconnect with the love of his life. Though it is hard for the boys to discern truth from fiction when it comes to Mud, it isn't long until their small Arkansas town is besieged by a beautiful girl with a line of hunters in tow.

I'll pick it up as well, one of the best movies I've seen in the last few years. I looked at Nichols' history and didn't realize he had directed Take Shelter. It was ok...an interesting movie. I put Shotgun Stories in my netflix queue
