<img src="http://imageshack.us/a/img18/5057/agooddaytodiehardblu.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/> Extras: •Extended Cut of the Film •Deleted Scenes •Making it Hard to Die •Anatomy of a Car Chase •Two of a Kind •Back in Action •The New Face of Evil •Pre-vis •VFX Sequences •Stills: Gallery •Theatrical trailers •Commentary by Director John Moore and First Assistant Director Mark Cotone •Maximum McClane Movie was a disappointment. But, since I'm a completist, I'll get it at some point. I would like to see the Extended Cut though. Maybe it helps the movie? |
Re: A Good Day to Die Hard: Extended Cut -- Coming June 4th
I assume the commentary consists of Moore apologizing for an hour and a half.
I'm curious about the extended cut but I'll wait for reviews to find out if it's an improvement before I buy it. |
Re: A Good Day to Die Hard: Extended Cut -- Coming June 4th
How convenient! Timed 'perfectly'. After they cashed in on the 25th Anniv. edition, now they just happen to be releasing this? Anyway, I'm glad it's coming and will pick it up.... I knew they would do this, and of course didn't buy the repackaging of the first four films for this very reason.

:D Hoping the extended cut is 120 minutes.
Who am I kidding, it's probably 3-4 minutes of worthless scenes. |
Re: A Good Day to Die Hard: Extended Cut -- Coming June 4th
I'll wait till this hits Netflix. Looked like a steaming pile of shit; extra footage can't save that.

Re: A Good Day to Die Hard: Extended Cut -- Coming June 4th
Still waiting for the longer cut of the previous Die Hard

I'll pick it up eventually. I'm curious about the extended cut and didn't think it was as terrible as a lot of people made it out to be.

I kind of enjoyed this film. I'll pick it up once it hits $10 or below.

I'll wait until it's dirt cheap, but am interested in seeing how bad it is.

I wouldn't go that far. My biggest gripe with the movie is that John McClane felt like he was taking the backseat to his son (Jack) for pretty much the whole film. Overall the film could have been better and isn't the strongest of the series but I thought it was watchable.

In name only. Other than that Bruce Willis happens to star in it and his character responds to the name "John McClane," this one bears no resemblance to any other movie in the franchise.

Re: A Good Day to Die Hard: Extended Cut -- Coming June 4th
They couldn't even be bothered to shoot this one in scope like all four of the others. That's how lazy this is. Absolutely no one involved gave a sh*t about anything they were doing.

I never got around to seeing this so I'll definitely rent it. I know it's going to suck but I will need to see it on principle alone.

Re: A Good Day to Die Hard: Extended Cut -- Coming June 4th
This was one of those movies made almost solely for the international box office. It's made almost $300 million worldwide so far, there WILL be at least one more. Hopefully Bruce's heart will be in the next one - this one made it seem like he was fulfilling a contract obligation to FOX.
