Target: Argo

Argo
* Exclusive bonus disc? Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo $29.99
Should of this come with a third disc or is the Blu-Ray pressing different than the version sold at other retailers?

I purchased a copy from my local "TARGET" and it did not have a third disc.

Due to weather have not had a chance to play the disc.

Thanks! For the reply as the sales flyer read as it should of had a 3rd disc.

Re: Target: Argo

I assume that the special disc pressed just for the Target exclusive still has all of the special features, same bitrate and audio/subtitle options as the normal retail version?

In other words, the normal retail version must've had several GB of space free so they could add in the new bonus features without touching the existing content? At least that's what I hope happened. Nothing is worse than thinking you got a better edition only to find out they took away other stuff (without telling you) to make it fit on the disc.

I don't know who :David is, but I doubt anyone has had comparable problems with a store over the years as I've had. Target is rarely a problem and Worst Buy usually is. Not to mention Worst Buys are about 8-10 miles apart vs. Targets about 4-5 miles making it harder just to go to a different location.

According to the "other" bd website forum, the Target has a lower bitrate but those who've viewed the target version could not discern problems. That said, I haven't seen anyone do a side-by-side comparison. I did buy the Target version today.

Re: Target: Argo

The 3 features total 30 minutes, all in HD. I saw nothing wrong with the movie, I'm pretty certain no one can really tell any difference between Target's special pressing and the regular one.

I wish threads asking a question actually included the question in the thread title.

When I posted this message it was meant to be a warning to others to make sure that the disc set that they pick up was the correct set and it had the bonus disc attached.

The other Argo thread that can be found on the 1st page just a few spots down also contained the answer.
