my copy from Amazon has this notation:

"Delivery Estimate: Tuesday March 26, 2013 - Wednesday March 27, 2013 by 8:00pm"

My Amazon order updated to say I would get it earlier then estimated.

My combo pack showed up with the incorrect disc and no sticker.

Received my copy today from Amazon.

Correct DVD (widescreen film pretty much identical to Disc 2 of the Vista Series DVD set with all the same features). No slip cover (for those who care).

Also, the Toon Town Confidential track IS on the blu-ray, it's just under the subtitles options and not special features.

Not sure what your pointing out. That's not new info and has been posted several times in this and the other topic including a picture that says this is what's wrong with the DVD.

Very disappointed with the PQ. I'd give it a 6/10 (at best).

I was really hoping for the Secrets Of Toontown making of special. Luckily, I have it on a 25 year old vhs that I taped off tv.

The blu. I literally got up to check the case thinking I put in the DVD by mistake. And I turned it off after 20 minutes. Such a shame.

I think the picture looks pretty good, although i'm not the pickiest and best judge of quality.

Picked this up tonight at Walmart since it won't be getting any cheaper for awhile. They had about 10 or 12 copies and all had the slipcover but only a few had the "Oops!" sticker on it. I was at Best Buy yesterday and none of their copies had the slipcover.

I saw it at Target tonight as well but they had it in standard DVD packaging. I didn't know it would've been available in both.

Other than the sticker, is there any way to find out which one has the corrected dvd? I still haven't opened mine from amazon. If I did a return at this point, they'd probably only have the corrected dvd, right?

Probably. Which version do you want? If you have the incorrect one, Disney will replace it

If anyone is still looking for the version with a slipcover, try Walmart...The one I was in yesterday had about 20 of 'em.

Without opening it, probably no way unfortunately.

Wow, very impressed. I received my widescreen DVD today, and it is indeed the proper format, although the disc art looks the same. It came in a paper sleeve inside a bubble mailer.

The BD doesn't have the Valiant Files picture galleries, does it?

Unfortunately it doesn't. But they are on the DVD (widescreen).

Unless you do Disney Movie Club, you'll be waiting a long time. This is Disney.

It's $10.99 on Amazon ;)

Still, a year later, I have no interest in this anymore.

Pretty good price for those that one to pick this up.

Would've been a day 1 buy for me, but not buying it since it's been censored.

Inigo Montoya does not think you understand that word.

Nobody likes censorship but sometimes you need to be realistic about what was removed. It's absurd to expect Disney to release this film with subtle Easter eggs thrown in by animators and undiscovered by execs and ratings boards. It's nothing to do with changing the original intent of the film. These are things that would have been removed immediately had they been caught in time.

You can't expect Paramount to release Wayne's World with Stairway to Heaven unlicensed. You can't expect libelous content to be restored to Wonder Boys. You can't expect the new owners of a telephone number to put up with a bunch of phone calls every time Revenge of the Nerds is on TV because the prop department didn't use a 555 number on a sign.

Most of these Disney urban legends are bullshit but when it comes to stuff like Roger Rabbit and The Rescuers (which undeniably has a picture of a topless woman included) the desire to release a family-friendly product far outweighs the ultimately naive desire to present a film 100% faithful to the theatrical presentation.

You'd be hard-pressed to suggest a way to release these films uncut. Do you release The Rescuers with a nudity disclaimer? And alternate version with the nudity includes through mail order? Do you hide it on the disc itself through some sort of age-authentication feature? All three of those options are impractical and still open Disney up to the criticism of parents groups. Or do they just remove or alter the offending frames? Most rational people would say just remove the frames.

I watched Roger Rabbit on Blu recently, and while my heart ached for the laserdisc aficionado of the late 80s and early 90s who dissected thousands of frames to find hidden content, I was very much the movie I saw theatrically and loved at age 6.

Maybe the Blu-ray needs to be released under its original book title?
