How does this compare to the dvd that came out a few years ago ? I have that edition and I love it.

So, are they going to correct the disc in the new pressing, or update the inserts to reflect what's really on it? My guess is the latter considering the fact that they'll be ready on Thursday.

Picked up mine from BB earlier today. They had a sign next to the rack but no sticker. Oh well, I got it for the BD.

I picked up mine today (as well as all the other Disney releases). I could really not care any less what's on the DVD. In fact, I'd prefer it if they didn't even give me the DVD at all.

You hear that, Disney! Screw combo packs!

Did any call the phone number or send an email to the email address on the notice to find out what's going to happen? I could not find a copy at any of the nearest Best Buys.

I already have the Vista Series DVD so I'm not too concerned about that (although I find it odd they included a full frame DVD in this day and age), but I would have much preferred a Digital Copy like they did with Dick Tracy last year.

This is one of my favorite movies and a digital copy I would have actually used.

All you need to do is actually look at the previous posts and you will find the answer.

Does the Blu-Ray have the same special features as the last DVD release? Basically the only new thing is that it is on blu-ray?

^^ That is correct.

He said it was in the script and, if i recall correctly, wasn't something improvised by the animators. He called from the set of "Death Becomes Her" when I talked to him.

I didn't have a copy of the script to verify. The stills used to illustrate the story were pictures I took off the TV screen from the laserdisc.

BBs in my area (Phoenix) only had empty rack spaces for RR. Targets and Walmarts didn't have any indication that RR was released.

Oddly though, Sam's Club had copies for $17.99. In hindsight, I should have picked it up.

One thing of note: The Toontown Confidential track is actually set up in the subtitles section.

The review on Blu-Ray originally thought it wasn't included.

He's looking to see if they added in the Baby Herman sticking his finger up the lady's hoo hah. Or at least implying it was done.

It's gone and will never be seen again on any home video format.

My copy arrived from bestbuy.com sans slipcover. My local BB had only non-slip versions. They had a little piece of paper out with the "our bad" explanation.

I called the number. They're sending a prepaid mailer. Send them the DVD. They'll send back the replacement. I can wait, because I'll not be watching it anyway. But if I ever need it, I'll want the widescreen version.

What do you mean? It was on the previous Vista DVD albeit finger removed (making it more like fisting)

"Delivery Estimate: Tuesday March 26, 2013 - Wednesday March 27, 2013 by 8:00pm"

Well than can you be more clear on what you are asking in the previous post as I can't be more clear with mine.

It's gone and won't be seen again on any release forthcoming.

Thanks for the update. All these stories of low inventory at retailers (online and B&M) makes me wonder if it was recalled by Disney so they can replace the disc.

That video is ten minutes long and I have no way to do a frame by frame on it.
I still don't know what you want to know. You said the scene where he does it.

Where he does what? Stick his hand up her dress? He still does that but as in the previous version there is no extended finger and never will be again.

It would have been simpler to ask if his middle finger is still extended.
Either way I answered that question three times now.

You can go ahead in a youtube video 3 seconds by hitting the right arrow key.
