Exotica Blu Ray Combo (Canadian)?
I live in the U.S. and I'm reading the description for this combo and says it's all-region but then it kind of gets misleading and implies only the dvd is all-region. Does anyone know for sure?
Is the Blu Ray all-region as well or just the dvd? I really want this on BLU-RAY REGION 1 ! Does anyone here in the U.S. that can tell me more about the blu ray and the quality? Thanks!

You're mixing up region coding. For DVD's, its Region 1,2,3, etc. For Blu Ray, its Region A, B, C, etc. US and Canada are both the same region, Region A. But it's not misleading that the DVD could be an All Region (Region 0). Either way, it'll work in a US player for both Blu-ray and DVD. Not sure about the quality, I haven't read any reviews on this. I am curious myself, it's a great movie.

The Blu-Ray will play fine for you. I live in the US and also own a copy of it (along with The Sweet Hereafter).

The Blu-Ray is good, especially given the age of the film. It's easily the best I've ever seen it and certainly beats the crap out of the non-anamorphic, out-of-print Miramax DVD. It's also noticeably better than the DVD that is included in the combo package. I was very pleased with the purchase. But then again, I'm not quite the audio/videophile others on this forum are.
