Question about Alien single release?
 

Just a quick question, is the single disc release of Alien the exact same disc
as the Alien disc in the Anthology boxset? My Alien disc from the boxset is glitchy and I want to replace (local store has it onsale for 5 bucks this week) it without buying the boxset all over again, but I don't want to drop any features in doing so. If they are the same disc, I'll just swap them out.

Yep- same disc.

You might want to try contacting Fox first, and see if they'll replace the defective disc for free:

Glitchy how?, could just be a firmware issue as I recalled the Oppo BD Players having problems playing the Alien discs.
