If anything, the opening sequence is worth the purchase. If I had to compare the two, I like this just a little less than the first, mostly because Jet Li's appearance is mostly a cameo, and no Micky Rourke. It also seemed like the theatrical cut was really edited and chooped in some parts, so I'm going to guess we'll be seeing an extended cut, just like the first one.

oooof. Those features are very weak compared to what we got on EX1. I'll hold out for an Extended w/ better or more features.

Did anyone notice how cleaner the picture was than in theaters? I remember it being very grainy before. As far as extra go, I was surprised to see 2 fight scenes from the airport cut out. But like stated above I dont expect a directors cut from West.

A poster over at Blu-ray.com got to try this disc out using Neo:X and this was his impression:
From another thread, it seems that newer receivers will automatically matrix the soundtrack to the amount of speakers you have hooked up to your receiver when decoding DTS soundtracks.

There were scenes that were extremely grainy, and others where it was crystal clear, this kinda took away from the film IMO.

If you look at the picture from the xbox dash it says Expendables 2 Extended Directors Cut. Anyone have any info on this? It might be fake, but I have no idea why anyone would do that.
