Per blu-ray.com. I thought this was just a repackaging, but the 2 bonus discs actually make this worthwhile if you don't own the previous films.
Lionsgate and Miramax have officially announced that they will release Tarantino XX: 8-Film Collection. The collection contains eight films chosen by Tarantino to illustrate the first 20 years of his career, featuring the films that helped define his early success, including Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds. Street date is November 26th.
To complete this high definition 10-disc set, the Tarantino XX: 8-Film Collection also features two discs with five hours of all-new bonus material, highlighted by a critics' retrospective on Tarantino's groundbreaking catalog of films and "20 Years of Filmmaking" that contains interviews with critics, stars and other masters of cinema.

I already own all of QT's films on BD except for RD, which I've yet to buy cuz of the lack of features that weren't ported over from the DVD added w/ the weak image and audio, and KB (yes...I'm still waiting for TWBA).
$119.99..ain't TOO bad but like I said..that's a weak transfer for RD. Really dig the looks on the BDs and the cover of the set...dunno wtf the rest of it looks like or what will actually hold the BDs.

I'd love to get this for the bonus discs, but I already own Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill I and II, Rez Dogs, and Inglorious Basterds.
Not sure if it would be worth it for the two bonus discs, True Romance, Death Proof (standalone), and Jackie Brown. Nice covert art, too. The price isn't too bad, though. It's Lions Gate, so it will hopefully be nicely discounted.
Damn, I hate this shit... but still I also own most of this stuff and I really hate it when they repackage a bunch of existing content with a new carrot dangling in front of it.

actually....True Romance is Tony Scott's. So if you count KB as two films...he's directed 7 in this set. 8 if you count Django Unchained.

I own all of Tarantino's flicks on DVD but only Inglourious Basterds and Kill Bill I & II on Blu-ray. Assuming all the special features are the same as the stand alone releases I'll just stick with collecting those.
Do those 2 bonus discs only contain: Critic's Corner: The films of Quentin Tarantino and 20 Years of Filmmaking? That doesn't seem like very much for 2 discs.

Fuckers...I have all of Tarantino's films on Blu-ray as is except for the stand alone release of Death Proof, but I may be picking this up if the price is low enough. I like the cover art and would like to own the additional bonus footage.

Perfect opportunity to release The Whole Bloody Affair: missed.
Am I the only one who finds it strange that only half of Grindhouse (Death Proof) is in this? I know he had nothing to do with Planet Terror, but they're meant to be watched back-to-back.
Anyways... I already have ALL these movies on Blu-ray and there's no significant value past the bonus discs (which look like they could've fit on one BD). So I pass.
Anyone know who did the coverart for Mondo? That's pretty sweet. Looks kinda like Rhys Cooper.

Same here, but I won't be picking this up. Way to screw-over the diehard fans. If all the movies were new editions, I'd be in, but the same versions I already own? No thanks.

I've already got Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Inglourious Basterds, and True Romance on Blu-Ray. I have Death Proof in the 3-Disc Best Buy Steelbook on DVD, and I have Grindhouse on Blu-Ray. I don't have the Kill Bill films myself, but my dad has them on DVD, so I can watch them when I please (and honestly, I've been waiting for a Whole Bloody Affair SE the whole time).
I'd like the extra bonus discs, and I do think the Mondo artwork is cool, but it's not enough for me to double dip on the films I already own. If Reservoir Dogs had a new edition (one that carried over ALL the extras from the previous two DVDs, for starters), or if they had included The Whole Bloody Affair, then I probably would have bit.

Press release mentions that the two discs are five hours worth of content; if presented in HD, I could see that being spread out over two discs.

Perfect opportunity to release The Whole Bloody Affair: missed.
Am I the only one who finds it strange that only half of Grindhouse (Death Proof) is in this? I know he had nothing to do with Planet Terror, but they're meant to be watched back-to-back.
Anyways... I already have ALL these movies on Blu-ray and there's no significant value past the bonus discs (which look like they could've fit on one BD). So I pass.
Anyone know who did the coverart for Mondo? That's pretty sweet. Looks kinda like Rhys Cooper.

This is all of the movies he's written or directed with the exception of Natural Born Killers (which he wasn't entirely satisfied with), From Dusk Till Dawn (credited with the script, though I suspect he might directed half of the movie), and Four Rooms (he is responsible for one of the four segments).
