Re: The Amazing Spiderman - November 9th

I was going to get the Future Shop Steelbook but it doesn't include the 3D disc therefore I think I'm just going to wait until the 3D combo is $20 or less. I saw the movie in the theatre and I liked it but I think I can wait.

looks like they have the wrong pic posted for that price as the below text would indicate.

I only know of three in the states. Target, BB and Walmart each have one of their own.

Re: The Amazing Spiderman - November 9th

My Walmart had the 2D combo pack for $18.96 and the 3D combo pack for $27.96. They probably had 30 of the 2D, 10 of the 3D, and around 10-15 of their exclusive.

The 2D version comes in a thick case, even though I thought it was just a 3-disc set.

Just picked up my Walmart exclusive for $25. It looks very cool and will look great next to my Ironman and Batman head cases! Woohoo!

Got a few. Grabbed one for myself, one for a buddy in France, and one to trade later. I really like it!

I ended up picking it up last night (even after I said I'd wait ). I don't know if it was just mine or what but the damn slipcover was really on the case tight. I keep my slipcovers off anyways but still

Re: The Amazing Spiderman - November 9th

Trying to decide whether to get the Target set with the exclusive bonus disc or get the regular 2-disc BD set.

On one end, I have $10 worth of Best Buy RZ certificates, so I can get the movie for about $9.99+ tax.

On the other hand, I would love to have that bonus disc. But, not sure if it's worth the extra cash. I mean the regular BD set is loaded already with the 110 minute making of documentary. So, if that bonus disc is just fluff, it's probably a pass then.

Any thoughts? If anyone here bought the Target set, please do share an opinion.

the Target bonus disc is merely 18 minutes of exploratory stuff. not bad, it does explore the Raimi movies as well for a bit. i like having it, but i don't think it is essential.
