Wouldn't The Five-Year Engagement be the "big" release of this week?

Well it's a release, but neither DVDTalk or Blockbuster had it listed for this week. I went to BR.com and they had it listed, it's been added to the list. Too late for the poll

Is Blindness a standalone? I just bought this last week in a double feature with some movie called Venom. Weird...

It's scheduled for the 4th. I haven't seen the double feature version, but if there's a difference, it would probably be in the special features category. Also, Amazon has been selling it for over a week. I have NO idea why, but they might have gotten approval once the double feature version was being sold.

I didn't mean that The Five-Year Engagment was the "best" movie or anything, just seems like it's the biggest new studio release and with a pretty good cast. I, personally, loved the film.

Probably nothing unless I can find something interesting during the week sometime.

Well, I found a couple of things ( like I always do )
Hondo
Paranormal Activity 2
Both former releases.

No offense taken. I'm just surprised at the number of titles missing from the release list, and I would agree that 5 YR certainly had a name to it. Doing this thread is kind of a pain already and if I have to check more than two sources I probably would hand it over to someone else.

I didn't know Mad Monster Party was coming out. Need to see that again and see if it's aged well.

I'll get Fringe, but I can wait a few months for it to drop to the $20-$25 price range, which every season's done thus far.

Piranha 3DD. Don't ask me why since I already saw it in theaters and it sucked.

I'll get Fringe and Hocus Pocus once they drop in price. Arachnophobia has been delayed until the 25th -- reportedly due to a bad encode that they're going to fix. My concentration for this week will be TV on DVD: The Good Wife and Grey's Anatomy.

Airport only. I'll wait for the prices of the tv sets to drop before snagging them.
