Shout Factory is releasing John Carpenter's THEY LIVE on Blu-ray on Nov. 16th! And there will be Special Features:
They're also offering an exclusive poster of the Blu-ray cover art with pre-orders made directly on the Shout Factory website -- while supplies last (apparently less than 500 have been printed)!

Check out ShoutFactory.com for all the details!
Production now underway for extensive and insightful bonus features that include all-new interviews, an audio commentary and archival material. We will announce in-depth bonus features and additional news in the next couple months.

Check out ShoutFactory.com for all the details!

Great news, hopefully this will be finally be the definitive Blu Ray edition of THEY LIVE. After two 1080p versions released, which were duds (The British upconvert and Italian (?) Blu), Shout Factory has the chance to really put those others to shame by doing a stellar job on the encode.

Really looking forward to getting this. Now, if only someone would release a Blu of Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, which is neck and neck with the original Black Christmas for my favorite horror film.
I'm not a fan of the new cover art on this or any of the "Scream Factory" Blus, so I'm glad the covers are reversible. I'll be getting them all, with the exception Halloween II and Terror Train. I hate the former and don't like the latter enough to upgrade my old Fox DVD. Can't wait to get Deadly Blessing, which is my favorite Craven behind The Hills Have Eyes. The Umbrella DVD has a beautiful transfer, so I can imagine how great it'll look in HD.

Yeah, not really caring about the movie poster. But I'd like this film...
I'm ready for 'In the Mouth of Madness', 'Prince of Darkness', 'Escape from New York/LA'.

I like the cover art because the way Hot Rod is unrealistically ripped reminds me of the artwork from PPV posters from the 80's

Any chance of the Piper/Carpenter commentary from the overseas DVD? I would like to know what the extra's are but will purchase no matter what though.

Shout/Scream's listing promises "all-new interviews, audio commentary and archival material," so hopefully that refers to the overseas commentary.
Thought I read somewhere that Shout/Scream also has PRINCE OF DARKNESS as well? Or not?
Reminds me more of the posters for those Italian post-apocalypse "action" movies from the same period, like BRONX WARRIORS or 2019. Doesn't really seem appropriate here, but it's certainly eye-catching.

Not saying I don't like it.. just I like the other better..the original alludes to the movie's content instead of putting it al out there..

If I am not mistaken, most of the other Scream Factory releases are said to have the original poster art on the reverse side of the sleeve.

Amazon has it up for pre-order for $19.99. I'm sure it'll drop further but I reserved it just in case.

Just got my copy in the mail from Amazon.
Not that I care about the Slip cover, but all the corners are dinged up. Also, there is an obnoxious grey sticker on the front that says "BUY" Did anyone get that on their copy? I'm tempted to try to peel it off, but I'm afraid it will rip the slip cover.

Why is there no chapter selection menu? And why are the chapters in such random places in the movie?
It's a minor quibble, mind you, but it bugs the crap out of me.
