They seem to actually be trying with these movies, Twilight kind of seemed like a "Well lets see if this sells".
Does Katniss become a terrorist in book 3? For some reason I just really want it to follow the Battle Royale series
(Battle Royale II was terrrrrrible).

After all the summer movies, I'd forgotten how really good HUNGER GAMES was. I really liked the extras on this release as well...although honestly I'm now a little worried the sequel won't measure up now that Gary Ross is no longer steering the ship. I've disliked every movie Francis Lawrence has helmed, but have enjoyed some of the screenplays from Simon Beaufoy...so I'm a little anxious about how the sequel will turn out.

My wife and I drove down to San Fran last Sunday to spend time with some friends.
We brought our HG Blu-Ray down so we could watch the movie together.
Their "Insomia" (or whatever the name of the BestBuy player was) would not play the HG BR movie at all.
Of coarse, my friends wife was all worried and concerned.
1. Their BR Player was not connected to the Internet
2. After connecting his player to his wireless network...
-I download the updates for the player...
WHAM! The BR Player now plays the movie.
HG takes a long time to load in my PS3, then when it does load, I have to wait for all the Previews to finish before the "Flags" appears so the Main Menu can show up - really irritating.

Danny Strong's just been hired to write the screenplays for the next two. No idea whether that's good or bad, but, there it is. Who'da thunk Buffy's Jonathan would end up an emmy winning writer now doing blockbusters?
