Wrath of the Titans 2D & 3D Combo Packs - 6/26/12

Warner presents this feature in two Blu-ray incarnations - a Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack and a Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet Digital Copy combo pack. Both editions offer Wrath of the Titans in its 1.85:1 original aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio tracks. Was this one filmed in real 3D? The first one was converted- I ended up buying it anyway just because it was cheap at Frys, haven't watched it yet but not expecting much.

Wow, it seems like just yesterday when this was being elbowed aside by The Hunger Games sort of like WB's Dark Shadows is being elbowed aside now by The Avengers

I liked this well enough. I'll be getting it.
I just wish there'd been more than one Titan (none of those other creatures count) and only five Gods. |

I thought this was a lot of fun and an improvement over the first, so I'll pick up the 3D combo.

No confirmation, but this new Best Buy exclusive of Clash of the Titans remake is apparently a steelbook. Releases on 5/29.

Reviews say this was converted 3D. I'll pass on this one, unless I get around to watching the first movie and like it a lot.

The pic looks G1, but someone apparently spotted these at Best Buy and they claim it's G2. Supposedly, Safe House is the last G1 steelbook we should get for new releases.

Sounds right. I went in at 10 this morning when they opened and grabbed one of the five on the shelves. The 3 people who came in after me grabbed 3 more. There was only 1 left at 10:01.

Canada usually gets more steelbook exclusives lately, but up here at Future Shop, our Wrath Steelbook only had the 2D version of the movie...so I had to pass on it, since I wanted the 3D version :(

Amazon.com currently has the 2D version for $9.99 and the 3D version for $19.99.
