Excluding the VHS releases, I've had all of them too. This is interesting, but i'll wit a bit till after the reviews after this is released to buy it or not.

The remake is not very good, so I'd say a free copy of the blu-ray should be included with every ticket sold for the 2012 version. I saw it, and it bored me to tears. Ya know something's not right when you feel that Schwarzenegger was more believable in the role. Plus, it does almost nothing to differentiate it from the original. In fact, theres this odd element where they pay tons of little homages to the Verhoeven original. Obviously, only fans of the 1990 film would recognize them. That is the exact audience that gets nothing new out of this film. Except glossier special effects and lamer action sequences brought to you by the maker of LIVE FREE OR DIEHARD and UNDERWORLD.

I almost bought the blu-ray several times at Wal-Mart when it was on sale for $7, but held off because of the bad reviews. Finally my reticence works in my favor!

This title is not shown in Best Buy's ad for next week. So it should be $9.99, which means it qualifies for the "upgrade and save" program. $4.99 sounds great.

Are specs *identical* to the UK release? Video Bitrate exactly the same? If so, it's a done deal at $9.99 ($4.99!).

Blu-ray.com gave the video 5 and audio 4.5. The interview with Verhoeven is nearly 35 minutes and in HD. The restoration featurette is also a little over 5 minutes.
