Like every thread on DVDTalk, this one is for whatever is on a poster's mind.

Hopefully I forgot to take a look at that. If not, a pox on you both!

The new Blade Runner release will be a digibook.

If I didn't have the Stanley Kubrick Collection already I'd consider picking that Full Metal Jacket Blu-ray book up. Might get it once it drops in price for that new documentary.

Don't be a buzz kill...I'm assuming given the (rather) short list, people would like to see what other people own.

Well, I don't.
When I go to a thread titled "List of all US Blu-ray Digibooks", I'm looking for a reference and/or new developments and news about digibook releases. I couldn't care less about what digibooks other people own. I'd expect to see that in a thread titled "Show your Digibook Collection" or something like that (which I would then avoid).

I'm curious how this will look and how the 4 discs will fit.

Apparently Best Buy is (was?) having a sale on several (all?) digibooks, $15 per.

^ Yes, I believe it was supposed to end on 6/2, but was extended to the 9th. Their exclusive The Town is also included.

I think it's only on certain ones, maybe 10-12. They should be in a cardboard display at the store. Malcolm X, The Green Mile, All The President's Men are 3 of them. Not sure about the others off hand.

Amazon has pm'd some of them.

My wife paid all of you to not tell me about this sale until it was probably too late to buy anything, right?

On topic: Updating initial post now.

Looks like its all the WB titles that are on sale for $15. Used up some of my gift cards and picked up 8 more tonight.

This will be a digibook.

I don't think this one really counts as a digibook though. It's got sort of the same look but doesn't have actual pages (only art cards).

E.T. is going to be as well (again, also at BB).

Yes, that Indy set looks like it's going to be in the same format the Star Wars movies were. Someone here needs to clarify if those are technically "digibooks"...as they have the same book format, but the don't contain actual pages the way most digibooks do. I say they AREN'T, but others may think they ARE. :)

TheBang 08-08-12 06:33 PM

Re: List of all US Blu-ray Digibooks

I'd say they don't count, because they don't contain that 15-30 pages of textual production information that defines most of the other digibooks.

Guys and Dolls and Hans Christian Andersen--coming late this year from Warner

Re: List of all US Blu-ray Digibooks

Hey Trevor, if you're still collecting these and you received the $10 off $30 email from the WBshop, there's 5 digibooks on clearance right now for $12.99 each.

A Star is Born
King Kong
Malcolm X
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Total would be $9.65 each + tax (free S&H) after the coupon code.

Only problem is, I see in an earlier post you picked up 8 Warner titles at Best Buy, so there's probably not 3 of these you still need.
