It looked to have been given a teal touch in preview clips, but having seen it in 3D now, I can report that the color grading is still very '90s. It looked nothing like the overdone teal-and-orange of today's films.

The last DVD edition from 2005 was teal-ified. I don't expect Cameron to revert back at this point. Perhaps the effect is muted by the inherent dimming of 3D glasses?

No US news yet, but this info regarding a newly remastered edition arriving in Europe in September likely means we'll get the same disc later this year.

I'll probably spring for that lower-left steelbook, if it's readily available in North America. That artwork is sexy.

I'm sure a US release will be on the horizon. I don't mind waiting, as I already have for this long....

I love that your source managed to misspell Lance Henriksen and Gale Anne Hurd's names.

Amazon UK is showing a release date of Nov. 26.

I hope we get one soon. I keep seeing this on sale at Target but can't justify the cost because of the crappy transfer.

Re: Terminator blu ray compared to DVD?

Given all the rights issues this series has, I'll be happy just to get good transfers on individual releases with copious extras.

I'm all over the inevitable 30th(!!) anniversary release. I'd be game for a 3D-T2 release also...

About time, hopefully this gets announced here soon. I was just wondering the other day where the planned SE of this was.
