I'm a completists so I'll pick up all three... if I can find them in store. Best Buy and Amazon don't have listings for these (other than ones already released a couple years back).

Re: Blade/Blade Trinity - June 19th

Interested to see how these stack up to the Canadian releases (which were pretty subpar, especially part 1 not being OAR)...since I got those for $4 each, I don't have a problem upgrading if the PQ/AQ justifies it - definitely in for BLADE II, since it is easily the best one in the series.

FYI, the Blade Trinity release will only have the Director's Cut, whereas the Canadian version only had the Theatrical Cut.

Weird. As much as I like DelToro and Blade 2, the first Blade is easily my favorite of the three, with Trinity being pretty much an unwatchable mess.

Yuck. To make things worse, both Blade and Blade Trinity have DTS-HD 6.1.

Blade II I feel overall is a better movie. Trinity a lot of people don't like but I enjoy it. It may be nostalgia more than anything since I vividly remember seeing it in theaters.

The first one I just haven't seen in such a long time I don't know where I'd rank it now but Blade II is semi-regualar viewing for me.

well supposedly someone over at blu-ray.com is now saying Blade II has a 7.1 mix - I'm waiting for a source for this info.

Yep. They are. And not Wal-Mart exclusive.

Huzzah! Good to know.

I'll still probably check Wally World first, to see if they go any lower with their price tag.

Hmm, I checked at BB and WM (2 of them) and didn't see it in store. Guess I'll check again tomorrow.

Re: Blade/Blade Trinity - June 19th

Picked up both these up at FYE today for $9.99 ea. Not a bad deal when you factor in the movie cash.

Shame I don't have a Frys or FYE near me (esp FYE as $10 is a good price).

Yeah, it's strange.

As a side, Best Buy now has Blade Trinity, although for some odd reason it's back ordered (and checking the store availability, there are none in the state of Oregon... not that I'd pay $15). Didn't find the first one, though.

Re: Blade/Blade Trinity - June 19th

There aren't any copies of Blade in any BB in the state of MI either. We'll see how long it takes for BB to ship it. I have a reward zone certificate and a gift card so I'm willing to wait awhile.

Re: Blade/Blade Trinity - June 19th

I found Trinity at a Walmart today but no luck on Blade. They didn't even have a slot for it which was strange. Went by a BB and they didn't have nothing.

I may get around to putting Trinity in tonight or at least tomorrow. I guess I'll hit the other Walmarts in search of Blade.

Re: Blade/Blade Trinity - June 19th

I'm very confused, for want of a better word, about the US release of Blade on blu ray.

My local Best Buy doesn't have it, and their website says backordered
It doesn't show on the Warner online store (but Blade 2 shows for preorder).
Not in Walmart but can be ordered online.
My nearest Frys is 60 miles away
FYE out of stock online

I feel like asking New Line, have you released this blu ray or not?
