Whenever you guys start getting your orders, I'll pay $300 for NOTLD.

If this sold out so fast, I can only imagine how quickly Christine will go.

Good point. Will have to move fast on that one though I'm surprised that doesn't merit a larger release from Sony. With the two horror titles doing so well in comparison of the other Twilight titles, I wonder if we'll see an increase in that genre?

Yea, seriously. I like the flick and all, but if someone would pay me $300 it's gone.

Well I hope this title doesn't disappoint when it eventually arrives. I mean as of yet, there aren't even any screenshots- let alone a review. I know Twilight Time has a pretty good record, but I never spend that much on a title without seeing some screen caps or reading a few reviews first.

One gets the feeling from their public statements that the guys running Twilight Time aren't really into horror movies that much. I think they got very lucky with Fright Night being a smash success and were unprepared for it being their number one seller.

Most people are assuming that Sony's team made a solid transfer for it. The Twilight Time releases from Sony's catalog have all looked decent to very good. It's the Fox ones that have been more questionable.

Somebody is selling it on eBay for $299. I might track this just to see if it actually sells.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread, but none of the Sony releases from Twilight Time will ever have special features. Sony bars other companies from including existing extras, or creating new ones.

Unless you're Criterion...

To be fair, the commentary from the NotLD DVD is being ported over (although the documentary which includes deleted scenes is still AWOL).

Pal Joey and Bell, Book, and Candle both have featurettes so I think your statement is incorrect. I'm guessing that TT is only going to put extras on if they can get it for free or a really low cost.

I'll be buying 5 copies of Christine and selling them for $300 a piece. Yeah, I'll be 'that' guy. ;)

There's also one for sale that's currently at 99 cents. ;)

Well, they sent me an e-mail stating my order had shipped. Plenty of others on Blu-Ray.com are reporting the same.

Definitely interested in what everyone thinks of the transfer, once you guys get your copies of NOTLD.

Want to know if it was a good or bad idea to skip on this :)

I'm the same way. I like the movie but not enough to pay $30+ for it.

Fright Night... Now that's a different story.

I got mine today. :)
But no magnet. :(

No magnet?!?!?!?

Over/under on how many posters on blu-ray.com are flipping the fuck out?

I don't know.

I don't normally care about added trinkets with DVDs/Blu's but I got a collection of movie poster magnets on my fridge that I've collected through the years so it was a nice bonus that I liked, especially at the price.

They're no longer doing magnets on any titles.

Of course they aren't. Why throw something extra in for fans after you've already bent them over a barrel?
