Rob Zombie Halloween/Halloween II Double Feature

Canadian Exclusive. Rob Zombie's Halloween & Halloween II. Together on one disc. No extra features, not even chapter stops.
But it's the theatrical cuts of the movies, which have a few different plot points. I think the other Blus are of the Director's and Unrated cuts.

On the case it says HII is the Unrated Director's cut.

Interesting. I grabbed that image link from Amazon.ca, where I ordered.

Here's an actual scan of the one I received:

I checked my Blu and they are of the Theatrical Cuts.

Spoiler:
Halloween: Michael escapes by killing the group of guards in the hallway. Loomis dies at the end.

Halloween II: Michael is killed on the spikes inside the barn and Laurie survives.

I hope there aren't two versions of this being offered because Amazon.ca only lists the one.

Yeah, this came out in September in Canada. My Review: movies only on one disc. No extras. Good picture and sound DTS HD.

I liked the first movie, the second was terrible.

I sent Amazon.ca an e-mail to correct the picture on their listing and confirm if there are both versions available on two sets.

I sent Rob a suggestion for Halloween III, because his versions are just amazingly horrific and original.

In it, Michael sees himself in the mirror and slashes himself silly to death. The movie's complete runtime is about 5mins. Including credits.

The director's cut would be about 6mins, with Michael finally slipping on the bathroom floor, impaling himself with his knife.

Haven't heard back from Rob.

I'd like to see Rob's take on "Season of the Witch".

Just got this in, and while the amazon.ca picture shows unrated, my copy most definitely says Theatrical.

and both films are indeed the theatrical versions.

Now the only question is, do I hang on to my theatrical standard def copies just for the few bits of audio commentary that are on the theatrical but not on the unrated....

probably not, but the completest in me is making me question myself.
