Yeah, the "free" keychain is really the cost of sales tax, gas, and having to spend 15 minutes explaining to the sales associate that you don't want the service plan.

Just pre-ordered it from Amazon. $34.99 works for me. No sales tax, free shipping, I'm also a Prime Member.
Looking forward to checking out the bonus material and hear some of the commentary tracks.

I believe the Prime shipping for this is "Release Day Delivery" which often translates to "Day Before Release Day" for BD. I've even gotten the occasional disc the Saturday before.

Had a $5 Reward Zone GC for BB so in the end even with tax, I got it cheaper then Amazon and free shipping.
LOL one of the rare times you/ll do better than Amazon's pricing.

All that’s left to say is to try and convince anyone who will listen that this is one of the most immersive and impressive shows on television today. With an estimated budget of $60 million, HBO has spared no expense to bring Martin’s epic series to your living room. Were it not for the tiresome disc swapping and the few minor sound glitches, I would have given it the full five stars. For new fans and old fans alike, the Season 1 Blu-ray is the complete Game of Thrones experience.
Overall: 5/5
After this spectacular opening salvo helping to prove HBO still has its mojo when it comes to original programming for premium cable, one can’t help but hotly anticipate what is to come in the marvelous world created by George R.R. Martin and the series producers for the second season of Game of Thrones. In the meantime, getting this Blu-ray set to catch up or refresh one’s memory is easy to recommend.

If it's anything like what Target offered for True Blood, I suspect it's just a slip covering the box (which itself contains a digipack).

With a stunning video presentation, an enveloping DTS-HD Master Audio track, and hours upon hours of excellent extras, Game of Thrones already stands as one of the best releases of 2012. It would take an army of gods and kings to knock it off its throne.

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 1
anyone seen the Best Buy sets in person yet? Is it just a slip-cover? I had pre-ordered the Stark one just in case I wanted it, but if I get the whole series, this may look out of place with future season sets.
