Browsed the Drive thread on bluray.com...wow are they fucked up over there...anyway...found this. Looks soooo much better than the standard one. Also....they mentioned Epson glossy paper.

Isn't that the same cover that comes in the "media package" we were discussing about 6 posts ago?

Actually, that's what it looks like on a computer.

Had to bust your balls a little.

I'd like to print it sometime. I've got the file sitting on my PC.

Will Office Max or any place like that print that out for you on the right kind of paper? I don't have a printer and was just wondering if you or anyone else might know. Thanks

Office Max and Kinkos won't officially print it, since that would be reproducing copyrighted images without permission.

Yes, you can say the artist allowed its use, but to the clerk it'll just look like you're making a bootleg cover. Even if there's no profit motive, the right to reproduce the art is the point, not the money. Then there's also the grey area of whether or not the artist had permission to use photo stills, which I doubt.

Note that I said "officially". You may get a clerk who doesn't know/care, or a manager who's happy for business, any business.

We finally see this tonight at home. Sure hope that it lives up to the hype, because we recently went with friends to the theater to catch The Descendants and it didn't.

Thank you. Guess I could try or just buckle down and finally buy a printer.

Took the file on a flash drive to Kinkos. Told them it was a DVD cover, guy printed it out on some nice semi-gloss paper. Two copies came to $5. No problems at all. Cover looks gorgeous.
