Anyway, it has a 5.6/10 on IMDB:

sparks could not be more wrong. i will not buy this at all. i wanted to know if the movie is good and sounds like it's rotten. i don't have every 3D disc made and i'm fine with that. it's like the SteelBooks i would collect. i would only get them for a movie i liked or perhaps will like as blind buy. and i certainly don't get them anymore. this sounds like neither so easy pass on the purchase.

None of the IMDB reviews calls this rotten; they mostly call it average (thus the very mid-range 5.6 rating, I suppose). Sounds no better or worse than most of the 3D pictures from the 50's that weren't Big Studio shows (and many that were). In fact, it sounds no better or worse than most of the 80's 3D movies that have been revived on Blu-ray and often raved about in this thread because heymychildhood! I'm sure the preservation of DIAMOND WIZARD in (watchable, at last) 3D is far more important than its historical standing or production quality. I think the same thinking can be applied to JIVARO, SANGAREE, MAN IN THE DARK, REDHEADS FROM SEATTLE and so many others. Without 3D, they might not have justified much effort to release them on hone video this late in the game, but they weren't rotten films, just programmers, potboilers, largely forgettable (kind of like 85% of what gets released in 2D on streamers nowadays ). I'll wait until I can see this to truly pass judgment, and that means buying it in one of Kino's inevitable sales just to be safe. Haven't been disappointed with any of the others I noted above, even if the 3D is largely the reason.

Yeah, don't put so much weight on the relative score, and only RT deems anything below 60% liked as "rotten," and even that sight has a separate "average rating" score.

Also, keep in mind that most of the reviews seem to be of the 2D version, so aren't getting the full experience, and even might find some of the 3D-specific elements distracting in a 2D viewing, and a detriment, which wouldn't be true of a 3D viewing.

I wondered if there'd be some kind of limitation on quantities, but I wouldn't be surprised if they produce more down the road. Most of their other 3D stuff seems to be perpetually in stock. Would be nice if they rustled up a 3D disc for the last Jurassic World movie some day . . .

Yeah, huge disappointment Universal snubbed Jurassic World. But if this one sold out, that shows there's still support for 3D, even though by now they should have just included it in EVERY set, preferably just making the 3D disc 2D compatible.

It's a bit pricey, but I got an Ultra Short Throw Optoma CinemaX P2 White Smart 4K UHD Laser Projector. Takes up no room at all. Maybe about 2 feet in front of the screen.

I got an email last night at 7:48 EDT
Says to track via SHOP, but just shows half way (Standard International). Usually they just show up here without any further notice when I've ordered from them before.

I’ve been able to track all my random space, Umbrella orders through Shop. Two are there now, but no confirm on shipping for SM.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.

I received my shipping confirmation at 9:56pm EST yesterday for Spider-Man and Boss Baby 2. Luckily I had just emailed them the other day to see if they could adjust the price of BB2 since it was on sale along with a few other 3D movies. Response time by RSM was really quick and they processed my refund for the difference in price.

USPS just delivered! Unfortunately I won't get to watch until tomorrow.
I got two random USPS tracking yesterday from Amazon. And this was one of them. Shop still says in transit.
It started at I presume an Amazon warehouse near me based on the city, then went 71 miles to Baltimore then 95 miles back to me. I assume that was for customs maybe?
Anyway, I also ordered Doolittle, and USPS tracking first showed up in Tampa. So it hasn't gotten here yet, currently in Baltimore

Amazon US had stock in their warehouse, and shipped out from there. RandomSpaceMedia sent Amazon US stock in advance of the release date, so Amazon US could ship right on the release date. I believe they've been doing the same with Amazon UK.

This has been happening for the last several RandomSpaceMedia 3D Blu-ray releases. It's been discussed on here before. If you're in the US and you want the releases fast, you're better off waiting until the pre-order shows up on Amazon US and ordering from there. Of course, the overall cost is higher, so you're paying a premium for the speed/convenience.

I learned this last year when an order 'from Australia' actually originated from right here in Toronto! Probably would've been cheaper to order via an Amazon listing because of the shipping. Seems like paying RSM's shipping fee is just bonus money in their pocket.

It depends on exchange rate and such.

Dolittle 3D was USD $34.99 on Amazon US, free shipping with Prime, on release day:
https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B09QTX489H

It's AUD $34.99 + $9.95 shipping on their site, or $32.02 total. Although, the MSRP was $40, so that'd be $35.58. I don't know what prices they had it on sale for during the pre-order.
https://randomspacemedia.com/product...lu-ray-blu-ray

So, in my experience, the Amazon US price is pretty darn close, and can be more expensive. Which makes a sort of sense. RSM still has to ship the discs overseas, it's just as a case of discs to Amazon instead of separate mailings to individual customers, so there's some savings there. But then there's the overhead Amazon charges for warehousing and shipping, which is a cut of the price.

I've been preferring Amazon US for the recent releases, since I don't have to worry about my international shipment getting lost or delayed, and also it'll be much easier to return if it gets damaged during shipping. Plus it can arrive faster, so it's worth it even if it costs a buck or two more. However, I held off on Spider-Man because I put it on my wishlist for my birthday later this month. Since it's sold out, I doubt I'll get it as a gift.
