Well, at least one scene was cut out of the U.S. theatrical version of "TGWPWF". Where Salander was at the bar with Wu meeting up for the first time when she got back from traveling. The next scene they are walking down the street and Lisbeth offer Wu her apartment. I didn't read any of the books but heard enough people complain about of the material left out of the films. While I'm enjoying the extra footage, it slowed the films down a great deal. Especially "TGWPWF".
