Saw this in the movie theater, was fun, but not sure if I like it enough to pick up on BR.

Maybe, if the price drops to a $15 or below soon.

GH 2 would be great if they had more action in it.

Best Buy's ad mentions the standard version as a BD/DVD combo pack. I guess they have that as an exclusive.

EDIT: a blu-ray.com member confirms that the standard version doesn't include the DVD. FYI.

I can also confirm there is no Blu/DVD combo contrary to what the Best Buy Ad says. Only the 3 disc combo exsists, which I got. I'm stuck with a 3D bluray disc i'll never use.

Mainly cause I have the DVD player in my room, and the Bluray player is set up on the nicer TV my parents own. I like to have both, so I can watch the DVD anytime. I usually go for combo packs for now. Until I can get a bluray player for me. I'm mostly a DVD buyer still. For stuff like Tron, Tangled, Harry Potter, etc the combo packs are nice.

Shoulda banked that $5 and saved it into an account. BD players are going for $60-70 frequently if you want a spare.

BEST BUY'S Ad does say this blu ray/dvd I bought it and can confirm that there is no dvd in it! I called and BEST BUY and they gave me the 3D one in place of it cause I live a hour away and probably used 10 dollars in gas to only save $4.99 that's 2 trips! and the only ex. package I saw that was also advertised was a cardboard sleeve on blu ray not on the 3D version! I'm sorry but BEST BUY really screwed the pooch on this one that's false advertising!

A PS3 case holds 3 discs?

I alwo don't own a PS3. And it has a Blu-ray logo embossed at the top so it's not a PS3 case.

It's not a ps3 case. It's the same case Sony used for Angels & Demons except it is clear.

Dont waste your money. the movie was ultra-lame and craptastic. Shame on Michel Gondry for directing a terrible script from Seth Rogen, along with some awful acting.
Any fan worth his/her salt should stay away from this disaster.

Whenever I do get around to picking this up, I'll just go with the single-disc Blu. Format redundancy isn't that important to me.

Thickness, colour and size wise, it is exactly the same as a ps3 game - Jesus Christ, semantics with people around here. Yes it has a blu-ray logo on the top and holds 3 discs - line it up with a ps3 game though and you'd be unable to tell the difference by looking at the spine.

The cases Criterion uses are closer to PS3 cases. As others have said, they just took an existing Blu-Ray case and manufactured it with transparent plastic.
