In for a few of these- hopefully more of this kind of stuff will get licensed to the small companies if the studios don't think it's worth their time. Wonder if Mill Creek will get The Jerky Boys Movie- that came out on laserdisc but was never on DVD.

I have laserdiscs of Encino Man, Jury Duty and Bio-Dome autographed by Pauly Shore 
(I have Camp Nowhere and Super Mario Bros on laserdisc too!)
And no, I did not buy any of them at full price- wondering how many people bought Son-In-Law and In The Army Now at the bargain price of $39.99...

It's widely known it was set-up for a Vista Series release until someone decided to axe it and dump the theatrical release as a barebones offering. My feelings are someone at the studio was going to look like an idiot for meddling with Beatty's vision.

I'd like to see Beatty's directors cut get a release and a decent SE attached to it.

hopefully now that Warren Beatty has succeded in his quest to keep the film rights to the dick tracy character, that tribbune tried to take back. we will see some kind of a follow up to Dick Tracy, which in turn would lead to a possible blu release of this great film.
Beatty has said repeatedly he wants to make another Tracy film(at this point the assumption would be he would Direct or produce, though there were some rumblings of him still playing a much older and now retired Dick Tracy, while the Kid would be the main star after all he did take on the name Dick Tracy Jr.
Not saying that it would be a great idea for a film follow up, just saying thats one of the stories i read a few years back.
personally i would be very happy for Dick Tracy to be on BD, and even happier if they would also release a soundtrack that actually included all of the song Sondhiem wrote for the movie, instead of that Madonna "Iam Breathless" garbage that we got instead.

I'm hopeful that was can get blurays of stuff like Ruthless People, Outrageous Fortune, Sister Act 1 and 2 and a bunch of others from this deal.

Some of these titles are showing up at Target already. I don't know if its exclusive but I would assume it is they are only $5 each.

Question about a few of these. Is the OAR that Amazon is showing for these correct? If they are, looks like the first Full Frame 1.33:1 releases on Blu-ray. Straight Talk, An Innocent Man, Another Stakeout, Big Business, V.I. Warshawski, The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag all show that they're in full frame. The 3 Scream BDs show 1.85:1. With the exception of the Screams, I might pass on these and a few others. I didn't check all, just these.
