Weird as Mill Creek usually announces the titles about a month or two before hand.

However, I'd be down for Ernest Scared Stupid. I wonder why Buena Vista is holding back Ernest Saves Christmas...

So what was the verdict? PQ better in the individual releases or the same across all releases?

The PQ on the single-disc releases have a higher bitrate as there's no longer two films in 1080i/p slammed across a BD-25. However, both the DTS-HD MA and PCM 2.0 tracks are dropped in favor of the lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 track that also came on the double feature disc.

Wait, what? The two-movie packs have lossless audio, but the individual releases only have a lossy track?

LOL. Wow. This company just finds new ways to be fucking idiots every single day. Not that I was going to buy these to begin with, but that's just moronic.

For whatever reason, they seem to be stocked in less supply at Dollar Tree than the other Mill Creek BDs.

They probably sold better than the rest, which meant less surplus trickling down to Dollar Tree. Or more copies could show up in a future shipment.
