Gotta be cheap for me to get it. I have the HD DVDs of I,II and Returns, and it's not like III/IV are that good.

Probably the only way I would get this is if all the remaining footage from the TV cut of Superman II, as well as the alternate opening of Superman Returns, was included. Otherwise, I've already spent a great deal on the DVD set, and that's enough for now.

I love the dvd set and can't wait for a blu-ray set. I don't even care if it doesn't have any new features with it.

Agreed on these points, although I wouldn't mind if they somehow found the cut footage from IV, despite hearing that almost all of it is gone forever.

I'm only interested if they leave an empty space for whatever new film will be coming out in the next couple years. This set will pretty much be outdated on arrival. I'd rather have it not include "Returns."

I'm fine with the inclusion of Returns, as it fits into an alt-continuity of I and II.

The new Snyder film will have no ties to previous films, to my knowledge, so I dont mind them not having a spot reserved.

While I have the DVD release of this set, I've been holding off on grabbing the Superman Blu-Rays available until a similar box set got released. My patience has paid off...

That footage is already included in the UCE DVD set. And it's terrible. Those scenes would have made an already bad movie far worse.

Not all the footage was included, some of it hasn't been seen since the first test screening. Indeed, they are terrible, but I wouldn't mind seeing them.

Admittingly....those shorts in HD....are well worth the price for set. That's historic animation there. That shit is amazing..and in HD?! Damn...

If the shorts were in the dvd set, then they'll probably be in the blu-ray set. Hopefully, anyway.
