When will the original Annie be on Blu Ray:
I saw the movie on netflix this holiday season, and although the kids went away when we started the movie, I counted seven heads in the room at the end. Aileen Quinn was the stopper. Finney was great. The reviewers hate the DVD because of the butcher pan and scan job. Understandable. But this movie needs to be cleaned up and put in it's original format. Then we will see again what we all saw way back when in the theatres. A classic. My opinion.

A proper release of this movie would be good. I prefer the Disney version, though. |

^ I agree David, the ending for the film version is just plain dumb, what was wrong with the original Broadway theatrical version conclusion, nothing... so why tinker with it ???

I don't know why this movie gets me deep but it does. When they casted Quinn they found a pot of gold with red hair on top.
