What's the story on Walk the Line Extended Blu Ray?

Has there been a Region 1 release and is it OOP? I was looking for it recently and it seems that the only available editions are overpriced Region 0's. If there has never been an R1 release, anyone know if one is in the pipeline?

The theatrical cut has been the only version released in the US (so far) on BD....

The UK Blu-ray is region-free and has the extended cut. I doubt you ever see it released again with the different cut for America.

I ordered this from Amazon UK and plays fine. Picked up the US theatrical, put in a double BD case and made my own "Ultimate" edition.

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to pick this up?

I searched the Amazon.co.uk site and it appears that all they have is the 1 dic version.

I see Amazon.Fr site has it the 'Directors Cut'. Has anybody had any expereince dealing with them? It's approx $27 without shipping at the moment.
