Sounds to me like original cuts, not the extended versions. The extended scenes are listed amongst the list of deleted scenes on the specs.

The big evidence is all four films listed as being Rated R. The directors cuts were all Unrated releases.

I've been wanting good editions of these for a while. Well, not 4, that one sucks. I might wait till they separate the box set so I can get just 1 - 3.

Well of course a Special Edition Blu-Ray was announced now that I bought and opened the Lethal Weapon 4 Film Favorites set just 2 days ago. Guess it was a good thing it was only $10.....

It's nice to finally see a catalogue Blu-ray title that actually delivers a lot more than just a picture and sound upgrade from the DVD.

Now if they can come up with a Road Warrior/Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome Special Edition....

It's funny how these titles never received the Special Edition treatment all these years on DVD? They were certainly considered hits and would have sold well.

Nice! always loved the Lethal Weapon series, glad i held off the first 2...had a feeling a complete set was going to be released.

I can never get bored of watching Lethal Weapon 4...Jet Li was such a badass in the movie!

Don't get your hopes up people. That's just an ad for the upcoming UK blu-ray release. The geniuses at Warner have no plans to release them in the US. The exact same specs were originally posted here: http://forums.highdefdigest.com/blu-...ml#post1999251

Err, why not? Even if they're UK-exclusive, they'll be region free and inevitably cheap to import. Whether it's US-bound or not, this still looks like a great set and I'm pretty psyched for it.

It was like $25 a week ago on a website. These are rentals for me...no replay value.

Amazon.co.uk has them available for pre-order for approx $50 and a release date of 15th November FWIW

If this spot was prepared for the UK, why does it have the American R rating symbol in it? I think it's safe to say we'll see this same box set in the US before Christmas, no?

Uh, Lethal Weapon is a WB release. It will be region free.

If it does come out, I'll get it. If not, I may get the UK set if it really goes down to a decent price. Either way, life will go on with or without the set. And they better have lossless audio this time around!
