Not really interested until they put out the extended cuts of 1 & 2. I don't really need to own 3 & 4 on BD.

The fine print at the end of the trailer says the titles will be available separately.

Re: Lethal Weapon Bluray boxset

If this comes to the U.S., I'm definitely in. Although with the bad PR going on with Gibson right now, I wonder if Warner will wait until that dies down before they release it. Hopefully it comes in before the holidays.

I disagree with anyone who doesn't think these have high replay value. I own all 4 movies (Extended Cuts for 1-3) on DVD and pop them in every once in a while and still find them really entertaining. Also, glad to see some upgraded bonus materials including commentaries from Donner for 1-3 and looks like a new one for 4.

That's good, now just make sure they're extended and I'm in.

Without the complete uncensored uncut Mel's Oksana rants in the special features, I don't know if I'll buy the set.

Re: Lethal Weapon Bluray boxset

If this does come out in the US, I'd get it for all the commentary myself. Especially Geoff Johns doing commentary on LW 4 and me being a comic book junkie.

Re: Lethal Weapon Bluray boxset

I just checked out the HMV UK website and the price is around $52 after the currency conversion for the entire set.

http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProduct...1;-1&sku=52536

Actually that sounds pretty comparible to how much it would probably cost in the U.S.

About $46 in Australia and comes out 5 days earlier than the UK.

Re: Lethal Weapon Bluray boxset

So is there any news on whether this set(Both movies and bonus features) will be playable on US Blu-Ray Players and PS3s? I'm holding off on buying the set off Amazon.co.uk until I know for sure.

I'm assuming it's region-free?

It's Warner....they only make the one same encode/disc for all three regions...I'm sure (as with all their previous releases) anything in SD will be NTSC-friendly....

Me too. I would normally have not expected it sooner, but my BTTF set came in less than a week. Guess that was an anomaly.

Maybe that shipment got flagged for extra inspection or something.

Yep. From what I've checked so far, the special features I looked at on LW3 were 480p and the stuff on the 5th disc is 1080i.
