Once delivered, does it say it's delivered on the Amazon.co.uk website?

This is my first order. :X

If it's through Royal Mail? No.

I'm a Prime member on Amazon.com and the only time I'd ever see a notification like that is if I could check the tracking status through UPS (who I love) or FedEx (fuck them). There are times where Amazon has shipped my items via USPS, but I've never been able to track said items.

Seriously, why does USPS even have the tracking function on their site? It is totally useless since it doesn't tell you anything.

i find USPS tracking very useful and works all the time for me to let me know where a package is in transit and about when to expect it.

for those that got it...was it a bigger package that may not fit in a 7" wide x 12" deep mail box or would it have to be left at door?

Even those little tidbits of information might not be accurate. Compare it to the tracking information of UPS or FedEx and it's not even close. I agree with Maxflier.

Mine shipped on December 11, and I still haven't received it. I'm getting a little worried, as it seems it sold out. Think they took more orders than they could fill?

If it shipped, you are getting a copy. It's just that the UK had a severe delay in mail delivery due to extreme levels of snow. The Royal Mail service has had to sift through nearly a billion pieces of mail (both letters and parcels).

So unfortunately, if you chose the more economical shipping option, you were at the mercy of Royal Mail until it physically left the UK. After that point, the package is now in international postal service and then needs to enter the US mail system.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

has anyone in this thread expressed their discontent over not receiving their package yet? mine shipped almost a month ago and still haven't seen it. usually they are quite quick, but this is certainly odd and unexplainable. sure hope it gets here soon.

Nope. I think you're the first one.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Can anyone provide a quick synopsis on why this went out-of-print and what's the deal with the version coming out next month?

It's a limited edition. Originally announced to be a 5,000 copy run on both DVD and Bluray, the Bluray demand was so big that they increased that run to 10,000 copies. This release is region free across all three discs, but disc 3 is a PAL DVD.

There's a special edition coming out this year with most (if not all) the same content, but the BD's are locked to region B and the DVD will probably be locked to Region 2.

I'm sure someone else can correct me if I missed something.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Because it's a limited edition.

The non-limited edition appears to be pretty similar as far as the disc content.... but it's region locked.

EDIT: beaten....dang!

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Limited edition has the special digi packaging along with a few extras like comic, cards, etc. The normal edition is basically like the past Arrow releases.

It's not that. I ordered "Bay of Blood" which isn't limited, it shipped on Dec. 11 and I haven't received mine either, though I did get reimbursed for shipping.

It's not just this. I'm also waiting on Bay Of Blood and a book.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

Given that this is a limited edition, I don't see how they could get more in stock.

I just hope that all of our discs are still sitting on a steamship somewhere in the Atlantic, and they'll get here soon...

Today Arrow updated its fb with the info that they still have LEs for sale, but I didn't check to see if they were DVD or Blu.

Re: Battle Royale (Arrow Releasing)--October 2010?

It ... actually exists! Folks worrying about their shipments: the box is one of the sturdiest out there, so don't anticipate any mangled sets. Ended up with 1428/10000.

HOLY SHIT U GUIZ

The box was damaged as all hell but the set looked fine. Especially ironic was the advertisement on the box for Toy Story 3: "get it before Christmas!" Yeah, right. Anyways, I was 8657 / 10000. Would have been nice to get one of the <5000 numbers but it's not a big deal. I live in Baltimore, MD by the way.
