They've already sent it. They aren't going to go to your house and intercept the package. It's in the mail. There are delays. I still can't believe so many people are complaining about this and blaming Amazon for something they have absolutely no control over.

If you really wanted your package right way, you would've gotten upgraded shipping and not cheaped out in the first place.

Any business that wants to succeed in sales knows the following statement: underpromise, overdeliver.

Everyone at this point has a legitimate right to be pissed. The orders were sent out as an estimated delivery time of December 22nd - 24th when the release date changed. When the orders actually shipped, everyone's shipping date was changed to January 5th. It's that date and nobody (including myself) has their order. This isn't the first winter the UK has ever had, they should know better.

I'm not asking for a refund on the entire set. No. I'm just asking for a refund on the shipping since Amazon has already failed at that.

+1. It wasn't so long ago that delivery times like this were quite common for shipping halfway around the world, anyway.

The non-upgraded price was super-cheap, too! I'm a little saddened by people who want everything yesterday and don't want to pay a dime for it.

If Amazon has failed to pass your set through their standard delivery channels (Royal Mail), for which they usually see the kind of service which allows them to estimate a delivery date to you, I will eat your set.

Until you receive it, for all you know, it may be sitting on a shelf in a US customs clearinghouse.

that's strange, because I got my 'Bay of Blood' alot quicker than 'Battle Royale' which was shipped supposedly the same day.

Doctorossi said it already, but this is something Amazon could never have anticipated, and it is affecting, not just their packages, but everything that shipped out of the UK during that time frame (not sure if it's still affecting the mail). They should know better? Really? I just don't get that.The wait is not going to kill you.

In other news, Amazon UK actually just came and delivered a package for me, so maybe today will be the day boys and girls.

I have to admit that whenever it shows up I won't be able to build up the same sense of anticipation when checking the mail.

Also, I just bought a used CD from a guy over in England. He said he mailed it out yesterday. I wonder which package will get here first?

OMG. The Anticipation.

Postman was still sorting the mail in my apartment postboxes when I left for work. The sad thing is when I get home even if I do get it, I'll only get a pick up slip (which could be ANYTHING!)

pre-ordered this back when it was announced and mine hasn't arrived either. got my shipping refunded though. since it's taking so long it's fun to see how much longer it will take. i hope it's like 3 months more! go for some sort of record.
