Top 10 Most Wanted Criterion blu-ray upgrades
 

Title says it all, what are the top 10 DVDs you wish CC would upgrade to blu. They have to be movies that CC still have the rights to and have a great DVD but not a BR. It's hard to narrow it down to 10 but these are ones I would love BR upgrades of

All of these would be appreciated in HD, but Two Lane Blacktop would likely benefit the most as the current disc is plagued with some unfortunate low bitrate mpeg compromises.

The Studio Canal HD DVD is one of the nicest HD transfers I have ever seen. However, I don't think Criterion will be releasing this on Blu-ray anytime soon.

I forgot Two-Lane Blacktop in my list (and it would actually be close to the top of it). That's definitely one that needs an HD upgrade to lessen the effect of the ringing on the current disc. Hate to lose all those nice printed supplements, but PQ of the feature takes precedence.

Agreed with all the Kurosawas. Also all of the Truffauts (especially the entire Doinel set). The Thief of Bagdad I would love to see as well, despite the relatively recent release.
