Gizmo, I have never laughed so hard while hating someone so much in all my life.

For that, I thank you.

Also, the BTTF is all my time favorite trilogy as well. The trilogy as a whole has gotten more spins in my DVD player than anything else I own.

I thought this would be more news about the BRD release.

Shameful.

Back to the Future videogames are being released this winter, I wouldn't be surprised if they released the trilogy on Blu Ray at the same time.

Oct/Nov release is very likely. We will know next week anyway as they will probably announce the date when they show the game at E3. Or they might just wait to see what Paramount does with Indy...as it wouldn't be wise to release a hit 80's Trilogy the same week.

LOVE that movie, but you have to admit it would probably be at the BOTTOM of Universal's Blu-ray catalog titles to upgrade.

Honestly, I disagree. They wouldn't have made four DTV sequels if Bring It On wasn't one of their most consistent, popular catalog titles.

and one of them was actually released on Blu-ray. We'll see the original film eventually (maybe sooner if "Hellcats" does well on the CW).

I think with the games they should do what they did with Ghostbusters and make a "sequel" through a video game. Since BTTF4 is never going to happen see if they can get all the actors together and make a video game sequel. How awesome would that be??

I was thinking the same thing...in fact, I wish they did this with more franchises. The GHOSTBUSTERS game was a lot of fun and it "felt" like the third movie we never got (and probably never will).

re: "Back To The Future" on Blu! (10-26-2010)

from blu-ray.com. Nice to see they're not flippers. I put in bold all the new stuff. Very nice set.

Video will be 1080p, with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Audio will be 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The discs will be single-sided BD50s.

Special features include:

* U-Control (BD-exclusive):
o Setups & Payoffs: As you watch each of the three films, each "set up" showcases items in the scene that prepare you for a future plot point. When you get to that moment in the film, the "payoff" is shown to complete the correlation.
o Storyboard Comparison: Compare key scenes in the movie with the original storyboards.
o Trivia Track: Get inside trivia and facts while you watch the movies
* Q&A commentaries with director Robert Zemeckis and producer Bob Gale

o Third Time's the Charm: Learn about building a western town, Doc Brown's love story, the casting of Mary Steenburgen, the train sequence and completing the Trilogy.
o The Test of Time: Back to the Future becomes a phenomenon! President Reagan quotes the film, the Back to the Future ride opens at Universal Studios theme park and fans rebuild the iconic DeLorean. The film's cast and crew take a look back and discuss why these beloved movies live on.
