Question about the slip case covers of Smallville Seasons 6, 7, and 8 Blu Rays.
 

So I finally decided to buy Seasons 6, 7, and 8 on BD. I got the BDs and I see that S6 doesn't have a slip case cover, S7 has a thin slip case cover that the BDs goes in through the top or bottom and S8 has a thicker slip case cover where the BDs go into the side?

I bought them factory sealed brand new on eBay (as S6 and S7 were discontinued per 3 different Best Buys), so I don't know if I'm missing a slip case for S6. Am I? Also why is the slip case different from S7 to S8?

Considering you can still purchase Seasons 6 and 7 from Warner's own website, I'd hardly consider them "discontinued"....
DVD Empire and Amazon have them both available and in stock as well...basically, Best Buy just fed you a line of crap since THEY may no longer be carrying it in their own stores...

Anyway, as to your questions: no, I do not believe you are missing a slipcover for Season 6 as I have never seen a copy with one....and the reason the slip style changed from Season 7 to Season 8 is because WB just decided to change the packaging as they tend to do from time to time....

Thx for your reply. I'll just take off all the slip covers to make it uniform.

I did check Amazon and DVD Empire. They were a bit more expensive then the ones I won on eBay. I got all 3 seasons for $70 total. S6 & 7 were $20 each w/ free shipping. S8 was $30 w/ free shipping.

Funny enough, Best Buy's website sells 'em, lol (heck, they still have the season 6 HD DVD as an outlet item). Though you got a far better deal considering all 3 would've cost you $170...
